They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2 : 44 – 47 NIV
Where and When?
There are no regular meetings, but there are various events throughout the year such as Mother’s Day tea, Christmas Potblessing supper, summer BBQ, ladies’ conference, baby and bridal showers.
Open to ALL Ladies.
Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea
An intimate time together where we pray for each other, sing our favourite songs, and share stories while we drink tea and enjoy sandwiches, pastries and cakes. A great time to connect with new and old alike for fellowship and encouragement.
Annual Ladies Group Potblessing and Special Projects
A Potblessing is our annual get together in which we bring food and share fellowship one with another. We usually contribute to select ministry project to contribute. In 2019 we supported the “Every Drop Counts Project”. This initiative was to build a solar powered well and above-ground cistern on Camp Luka in Congo. Our ladies teamed up to make pizzas to fulfill our orders for fundraising. Along with donations given through the church, we were able to donate $1,558.00 and we are praying that through this, all the Glory can be given to God and many will get to know Him through this well. For the next annual event please contact Sandra.
